Out of the Cage

Progress is being made here. Today they did not put me in the cage but locked me in the back part of the motorhome. I am still sort of captive but at least I can get to my nice comfy bed and roam around a bit. It is NOT like being able to get in my nice comfy chair and look out the window but it is better than being in that contraption that they tried to call a "kennel" or a "crate". Fancy words don't change a that fact that it is a CAGE and KC - THE WONDER DOG does NOT belong in a cage! Hrmmph!

For those that are wondering, my leg is feeling much better and I can even put it down on the ground some. I am trying not to let the humans know this though so they will still carry me around and pamper me. So that is our secret.....

No One Helped and Here I Am

No one helped me and sure enough they took me back to that place and they did surgery on my leg. That was on Friday and boy I do feel better today but what a HORRIBLE experience. Not only did they have me shaved when I got groomed, but this surgery thing caused them to take ALL the hair off my right hind leg from the hip to just below the knee. Now I really look like a freak. Not to mention the two inch scar with terrible stitches that now runs down my leg. AND PAIN, my God, I was in such pain...how could they do this to me in the name of making me well! It is better today but I will never forget this experience. I thought the tooth pulling was bad but that was absolutely nothing by comparison. On top of all this, to add insult to injury (literally), I now have to stay in a CAGE every time my humans leave me alone. A CAGE!! Me, KC-The Wonder Dog in a CAGE! Can you even imagine? My humans must feel terribly guilty about this because they are being very, very nice to me. They carry me outside and back in and carry me around the motorhome. This is NOT going to make up for what they have done. I don't know how I will ever get over this humiliation. And No ONE out there lifted a finger to help me before hand.......

HELP ME!!

I have been hearing my humans talk and I think they are plotting something. They keep talking about surgery and Friday and I think it involves me. I know they have taken me to the vet a couple of times about my injured leg and so I think they are going to take me in to have it fixed. I am not sure that this is is a good thing. My leg is a bit gimpy but SURGERY??!! HELP. I'll keep you posted as I learn more. They took me in and had me groomed today...this must mean something as they had me shaved instead of my nice fancy cut that they usually do.
